These terms apply to your use of neatmotif.online, published by KASSANDRA, spol. s r.o., Pod Stráněmi 818, 760 01 Zlín, Czech Republic, company registration 48911097. Reading the site means accepting them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What the site is
Neat Motif is an informational workbook about setting up and living with online PC games. It is general information published for a non-specialist audience in Australia. It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, not financial, not security advice — and it is not technical support. Nothing on the site takes account of your particular circumstances, and you should apply your own judgement, and seek advice from a qualified person, where the stakes warrant it.
The course is not accredited training. There is no registration with us, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification. Completing all five steps gives you the knowledge in them and nothing more formal than that.
Accuracy, and things that change
The course is written carefully and reviewed on a fixed schedule, with the review date shown in the footer of every page. Even so, the subject moves: publishers change their registration processes, their agreements, their prices and their system requirements, and they do so without telling us. Government bodies revise their guidance. Treat every description of a third party's product or process as a description of how things generally work, and check the vendor's own current information before you act on it.
Where a detail about a product is not stated by its vendor, the course says so rather than supplying one. We publish no benchmarks, no test results and no ratings of our own, and we make no claim that any product is the best, the safest or the fastest.
Links to other sites
The course links to other websites, including Australian government bodies, game vendors, and paid affiliate links described in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Those sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their terms or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you leave this domain, that site's terms and privacy policy apply instead of ours.
Use of the material
The text, layout and illustrations on this site belong to KASSANDRA, spol. s r.o. You may read the pages, print the checklists and use them for your own purposes, including in a household or a classroom. You may not republish the material as your own, sell it, or present it as coming from anyone else. Brand names mentioned in the course belong to their owners, as the notice in the footer of every page sets out.
Availability
We try to keep the site available but do not guarantee that it will be. Pages may be revised, moved or withdrawn at any time, and the site may be unavailable during maintenance or because of a fault at our hosting provider.
Liability
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those consumer guarantees, or any other right or remedy you have under Australian law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law permits, KASSANDRA, spol. s r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on its general information, including loss of data, loss of an account, charges incurred with a third party, or loss of profits. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the information or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, where the publisher is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. That choice does not displace the consumer protections available to you under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory Australian law, and it does not prevent you from bringing a matter before an Australian regulator — the ACCC for consumer matters, or the OAIC for privacy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised, and the effective date above is updated when they are. The version published here is the one that applies to your use of the site.
